Here’s a real serious potting bench for those serious gardeners. Considering I’m all for going “green”, the more we plant, the better off our air quality and foods will be. Not to mention that plants are beautiful on the eyes. Read on for a super safe place to buy your potting bench.
Throughout my years living in an apartment I’d always dreamnt of a potting bench since I all too frequently had to use the kitchen counter and get dirt literally everywhere. Now that I am in a house, I’ve graduated from the kitchen counter to my potting bench. It’s kind-of odd how it “grows” with you…

I just got an email noting Al Gores electricity bill. Yes, its public property, but maybe the reader didn’t quite read the whole article.
Al Gores home is old. 2005 spending was more than 2006 regarding electricity consumption. The family since last year is renovating to make use of as much renewable sources as possible. Not an easy task for an old home. You need electricity for renovations.
The major point though, is there was a link…

Large visions, larger prices. I’ve just reviewed an article about wind turbines prices on the rise to the tune of 60%. Not so much regarding the small home wind turbines - rather wind farms and communities that want to implement the green strategies to reduce global warming gases and remove themselves off the grid.
Go figure, literally. Involving oneself in the wind turbines industry seems to be quite a complex issue. Noted by Jan Paulin, CEO of Padoma Wind Power…

What a neat idea, colored solar lights. They change their colors on a rotating basis.
At first I wasn’t searching for colored solar lights, but I’m discovering there is no need for just one style.
I’ve found that outdoor solar lights can be added to my backyard in a matter of minutes, so I can just bring them out when I have my friends over for a night.
I thought, hey, I can use these colored solar lights as accents around the tables and help generate some discussion on the benefits of solar lights. Being…
