Cause of Global Warming

The cause of global warming is in part natural but scientists around the globe are in agreement that human activities contribute to global warming on a large scale. Fossil fuel (our main contributor to the causes of global warming) such as carbon dioxide is wreaking havoc on what we need to survive. We are adding significant amounts of heat-trapping gases into our atmosphere. Our lifestyles are to blame. Do we really need a drive-through for fast foods? C’mon, how lazy have we become? And to who’s expense? Each time we start our ignitions, use natural gas or oil to heat our homes or use electricity from coal-fired power plants we release carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases into our air space. We no longer can blame the cause of global warming on the life cycle of Mother Nature.
Our second largest contributor

to the cause of global warming and greenhouse gases: deforestation. From newspapers and frivolous ego boosting magazines to unwanted solicitations for credit cards and more – we need to make changes. We have to make changes. Can we not call the visa company and complain of their wasteful advertising methods? Can we not read the newspaper once a week rather than everyday?

Get this: since our industrial age began (last part of the 18th century) atmospheric methane has swelled up 151 percent. Numbers never seen before. Add to that the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide is up 31 percent. As concentrations of these gases increase, heat changes in climate patterns are becoming more and more apparent. Floods, longer warmer northern temperatures affecting ice creation, dry hot spells and freak storms are being felt world wide.

Do you think of things everyday you can change in your modern-day lifestyle to lesson the burden of the cause of global warming? I bet there is something you can do every hour to help make positive changes. Or do you feel empowered when you imagine yourself telling your child that you were just too darn lazy to care? What will it take for you to make changes? We live in a very greedy society and temptation is everywhere, but is that a good enough reason to slowly poison your own planet and the human race? The cause of global warming is largely affected by us – the consumer. Let’s do right by “the very essence” that gives us sustenance and life – planet earth.

Peace

Very nicely put! The good news is that most people in Australia (70%) do a little somethng regularly to reduce emissions.

The bad news is the government is not interested.
