Tea Tree Oil benefits, when you know what you’re buying (stay tuned), are unparallel to any other natural product I know of. It’s a “killer” of a natural product. Its scope of uses is incredibly unparalleled and very broad. I’ve been an enthusiastic tea tree oil user since 1997.

Melaleuca Alternifolia is its real name. Tea Tree Oil consists of many properties that are environmentally friendly and more effective than other popular products such as Polysporin.

The scientifically documented properties of Melaleuca Oil include:

1. It’s a natural fungicide
2. It’s a natural antiseptic
3. An amazing solvent
4. Pentetrating
5. Soothing
6. Non-caustic
7. Aromatic

Tea Tree Oil Uses:
Emergency burn units use Tea Tree Oil blankets for burn victims. You can clean your fruits and vegetables with it and you can use it to clean your laundry. Benefits of Tea Tree Oil also are effective for skin conditions such as acne, gingivitis, infections, bee, mosquito and bug bites, body care – you can soak in the bathtub with it. There is Tea Tree Oil shampoo and lotions. Rub some under your nose for easier breathing and spray it in the air to neutralize and cleanse your air. Use it on sore muscles for deeper penetration. Tea Tree Oil kills lice and the eggs, calms earaches, rids warts, nail fungus and more. The list is long. Very long.

How To Buy Tea Tree Oil:
Look for the following two ingredients. Terpinen and Cineol.
If they aren’t listed, reconsider purchasing it, you may get a skin reaction or it won’t be effective. If all you see on a products package: “Contains Tea Tree Oil”, but doesn’t list the two main effective ingredients, ask questions. The Austrailian government grades tea tree oil by the content of Cineol and Terpinen. The lower the cineol, the better, the higher the terpinen, the better. So it’s best when a product reads: IE: “Contains Tea Tree Oil C5 – T36″.

Those two numbers I’ve listed are very high-grade, very effective oil.

To give you a few examples, my two-year-old was 1 1/2 when he got stung by a bee. He thought it was a cute bug and picked it up and closed his hands around it. Sure enough – one second later, he was visibly stung and crying from the pain. I grabbed our tea tree oil T36 – C5, and in under 30 seconds he began to feel good. By one minute he was (in his own words) telling me he was stung by a bee but feels ok now.

I keep some above our stove. You can bet when we burn ourselves, we put a few drops or more on the area and sure enough – the burning sensation rapidly disappears. It’s incredible that it minimizes if not eliminates any chance of scarring also.

My dentist and hygienist are amazed at my oral health.

Honestly – I could go on and on. But I won’t.

Tea Tree Oil packs a punch. Let me know if you need some help finding these products. As a consumer I get to be environmentally sensitive and our family reaps the rewards with home and health care second-to-none. It’s a great blend between science and nature.

Peace.
