Solar powered cars - now this is something more my speed. Solar powered cars still have more intricacies to be worked on in regards to manufacturing them on a large scale, but as I’d mentioned in another forum, don’t all resources?

One of the fastest solar powered cars, ok - the fastest namely: Nuna I,II and III (IV is currently being created) is so streamlined and sleek, who wouldn’t want to own one of these? Granted this solar powered car is pricey at $500,000, but just imagine how our world would change.

Solar powered cars offer zero emissions, far less waste and the utilization of

a “never ending” source (the sun will burn out eventually but so will we at that point). It would also make our environment far more peaceful in regards to sound. We just might be able to hear the birds sing.

Nuna IV is the cream of the crop for solar powered cars and this one is to enter yet another race in the World Solar Challenge being held on October 21-29 2007. Wonder if some other vehicle will strip it from it’s forth straight winnings?
