POTTED TOMATO WATER

Interesting enough, I was asked about what potted tomato water to use. Hummmm.
Not quite sure I understand that one, so I’ll attempt it none-the-less.
I’d called around and heres what I’d gotten:…

Potted tomato water doesn’t have to be of any specific mix. You can use water right from your hose, rain barrel or from your taps inside. No need for distilled water. You will have to water potted tomatoes more frequently than if planted in the ground. Just place your finger about 1 inch into the soil. If its damp, no need for water, if it’s dry then its time to pull out the watering can.

With that mentioned though, I’d seen an experiment where a lady took 2 plants where one plant was feed tap water, the other, microwaved water. They were in the same window, not more that a few inches apart. In 2 weeks, the tap water fed plant was thriving and the microwaved water plant was dead.

So to be on the safe side, for potted tomato water use regular tap/house water or rain water from a barrel (no chlorine).

Peace.
