Spindle 8 car tower
Thats what I’ve got to say about California artist Dustin Shuler’s “Spindle” Tower at Berwyn Cermak Plaza, near Cermak and Harlem in Chicago. Soon it will either be in the wreckers yard, or in a Walgreens Mall by the end of this summer.

The Spindle is an eight car pileup tower that is home to many birds and a site attraction for humans. See it here live. The Spindle will either be dismantled or restored. Restoration has been marked at more than $350,000. A little high noted Mr. Shuler.

What would be cool would be to have the Spindle restored and beside it, put up an electric car tower. For Walgreen, it could mean “Where we once were, Where we are heading”. Have the manufacturers split the cost for 8 the vehicles. It’ll also mean a one time fee for advertising and an almost life time of advertising for them.

Any other ideas?

Peace.
