Can We Combat Global Warming
March 2nd, 2007 by admin
To combat global warming, scientists have educated the United Nations it will take a $20-40 billion dollar a year purse for industrialized nations. If we all “step up to the plate” and own up to our responsibilities, this should help spur economic growth in many areas yet to be expanded and explored.
Sure, we can combat global warming but budgets are far…
from adequate. Dedicating only a few billion dollars per year is noted by the 18 scientist panel that represent 11 nations, is only a drop in the bucket.
I’d read a recent article in the news that if we don’t make these changes, tens of millions of those affected by rising sea levels and ridiculously high temperatures, will need to immigrate to somewhere. A target will be Canada since it can sustain and take advantage of some of the coming climate changes.
To combat global warming, and help sustain lesser developed countries, I believe the proof is in the pudding and now is the time to make everyday changes. We have no choice. How sweet is that?
Peace.
